Today, Anne Marie’s immigration journey came to an end 46 years after the fact. In 1976, she became a U.S. citizen through her mother… no one ever told her or obtained the proof of citizenship. After we filed an N-600 with @USCIS, we were able to prove she was a U.S. citizen and obtain a certificate of citizenship in her name. The certificate was backdated to 1976!!
Congrats to Anne Marie and her partner Etienne… this was a great ending to a feel-good story!
